In one of the parties recently a smartly dressed lady came to me with a smile and said “I understand you are an Astrologer, please see my palm and tell me what my future financial position looks like”
I was surprised. Yes surprised, she did not know the difference between Astrology and Palmistry. Nonetheless, she was interested in knowing the future. Actually Astrology is the study of the science of light and its effects on individuals and nothing to do with the palm.
We are all interested to know what is in store in future. Over years different countries and individuals have used totally different techniques to predict the future of individuals and nations.
How are they able to predict the future? The technique used in all cases is the study of statistical probability of an event happening based on observations of events in relation to a situation. Persons have used various techniques like astrology, palmistry, numerology, tarot cards, omens etc for predicting the future.
Astrology uses the planetary movement and their relative positioning in relation to the planetary position at the time of birth of an individual for predicting the future. The underlying science is that the position of Sun, and the reflected energies from the planets based on their relative positioning from the sun, impact individuals with predictable results.
Scientifically speaking, the reflected energy from the planets is the energy frequency which is dependant on the surface properties of the planet reflecting. Instead of dealing with the numerous scientific possibilities of different frequencies getting generated due to modulation and its harmonics, which impact all the movable and immovable objects on earth, persons with divine intuitive power have summarized the effects of various possible combinations as combustion, conjunction, retrograde and direct aspect in relation to a position of the planet.As infra red light and ultra violet light have different impact on human mind and body, the combination of the reflected frequencies similarly impact the individuals differently based on the combination.
Palmistry is the study of lines in the palms, which are unique to individual. The lines in the palm continuously change and on close observation, relate to the change-taking place in the individual facilitating the prediction of the future events.
Numerology again is a science leading to the study of energy of each number. The fact to note is that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it only changes states and shapes like water changes from solid to liquid to gas under different conditions. The living, non-living and existing in thought or otherwise is all at some level of energy state like seed originated from a common source. Omens are again the probability arrived at by the study of different situations and the consequent happening. The other studies include body moles, proportion of various limbs in a human / animal body etc. Even the physical structures of stores, buildings have a significance to offer a prediction of the future. Similarly, the random pick of a Tarot card is interpreted as a prediction for a given situation or event.
While all predictions are based on the physical examination of the individual, Vedic astrological predictions are based on 3 inputs viz., place of birth, date of birth and time of birth of an individual or an event. The contribution of these three store within them the complete DNA of the individual / event.
